The Best Treatment is Prevention

If you are diagnosed with diabetic retinopathy, in 90 percent of cases, your vision can be preserved with early detection and prompt treatment.

Teaching, Learning, and Mentorship

The Finkelstein Clinic offers unique learning opportunities for medical students and pre-medical student volunteers. After each clinic, it is tradition for the leading ophthalmologist to give a lecture and to debrief on the day’s events and activities. As well as a community health resource, we aspire to also be an education hub for training and mentorship
